" This captivating and nearly extinct creature is a type of bird. It's about the size of a swift, has two huge wings, two strong legs and a huge tail.
They have a thin, but strong skin covered in small, wide feathers, which is usually either gold, dark purple or light grey or a combination of these colors.
They live in darker areas and are fairly rare. They're omnivores and their beaks and short tongue are ideal for eating nuts.
They're diurnal and rely on their sight and sense of smell to get around. They do have virtually no visible ears, but their hearing is underdeveloped.
They have short, pointy beaks and gorgeous eyes. Their heads are small and long in comparison to their bodies.
They make sounds ranging from very low pitched to relatively high pitched and have a very limited range of sounds they make to indicate discoveries, dangers and otherwise communicate with each other.
These creatures are fairly calm and they minimize conflict and thus aren't very territorial. They mate twice a year and they mate and bond with one or two partners throughout life. Which, with their incredibily long lifespans, is quite common among other species as well. "
